Star Ocean: First Departure PAL release date announced

Square Enix has announced the PAL release date for their PSP title Star Ocean: First Departure. The handheld remake of the original Star Ocean will hit Europe and other PAL territories on October 24.

Since the original Star Ocean for the SNES never made it out of Japan, this will be the series' official debut in PAL territories.

Star Ocean: First Departure will feature a whole slew of enhancements. New features include fully-voiced animated cutscenes, a revised game engine, and an improved battle system.
