Stacked with David Negreanu goes portable |
Ó

It's now available: Stacked with David Negreanu for the PSP. We've been tracking the progress of this game for quite a bit of time now, screenshots and all, but Myelin Media LLC and MTV announce now that the PSP game has now officially been launched, shipped, and made available for purchase in-store and online.
The two big draws of Stacked are its AI and its PS2-PSP interoperability. The AI's tweaked to learn and remember your moves, and as you progress through the game, it will slowly and selectively use this knowledge to hit you where it hurts the most. Oh sure, the game goes easy at first - what game doesn't? - but beware the hustle the AI may try to pull on you later in the game. It pays to keep on your toes, changing your game every time.
The AI's also tweaked to the play styles of the pro poker players you'll face in the single-player game, up to the bug man himself, David Negreanu. Be glad he's also handling the in-game tutorial sessions.
Now with the PS2-PSP interoperability, you can choose to sync your PSP and PS2 profiles, and you can choose to face off against other PS2 and PSP Stacked card sharks in the MTV-sponsored online match-ups. And at the top of the game, the Stacked Masters Showdown Tournaments, the pro players you see on the online table may be the pros themselves - no kidding, says the official website. Good luck with them when you see them.
Stacked with David Negreanu for the PSP is available at the usual major retailers now.

OMG FIRST
OMG ur First!!! THT SO SPECIAL!! OMG!!! LET HAVE A PARTY!! OMG!!!!!!! no.... well David Blain is a good MAgic trick guy
ummm i think its daniel not david
haha, its DANIEL
This dumb game spent months in a holding pattern in the upcoming releases on ebgames. Either it was delayed several times, or the mushrooms I ate did not let me see the release date clearly. At any rate, this game is going to be a waste of money. Unless your a serious poker fan.
Its daniel not david. Its on the picture you can clearly see it. WOW
Question: How many morons does it take to point out the exact same mistake?
Haven't seen a game yet that has evenly moderately good AI. All of these programs feature quirks from easy tells, to predictable hands, to just plain non-random cards. Comp players go all in with a pair of threes with 5 overcards on the board - calling large bets all the way up. Crap like that. There are so many nuances of the real game that just get left out. You can have from from 10000 players, to 100 players, to 2 players. You can be short stacked, chip leader, etc. These things change the nature of the game and CANNOT be programmed as each player plays differently day-to-day and minute-to-minute. No program out there is even close to replicating real play. Even pokerstars.net, as close to real as you can get online, is far from the real thing as you cannot see other players' body language. And these video games are just plain horrible in recreating real life. So #5, it WILL be a waste of money. But especially FOR real poker fans. BTW: Daniel (David) is my personal favorite. Oh, Canada.
I think its Daniel Not David!!!
