Square Enix releases TGS '08 lineup: Dragon Quest IX, FFXIII not playable |

Square Enix has announced its lineup for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, and while you might get to see a lot of games on display, you won't be playing some of the more highly-anticipated titles.
Here's a list of the noteworthy games Square Enix will be showing off, along with the currently announced status of what they will show for the specific games:
- Final Fantasy XIII: Trailer
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII: Trailer
- Final Fantasy Agito XIII:Trailer
- Dissidia: Final Fantasy: Trailer, Demo
- Dragon Quest IX: Trailer
- Chrono Trigger: Trailer
- Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days: Trailer, Demo
- Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep: Trailer, Demo
- Kingdom Hearts Coded: Trailer
- The 3rd Birthday: Trailer
- Valkyrie Profile: Trailer, Demo
- The Last Remnant: Undecided (no highlighted trailer or demo picture)
- Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope: Undecided
- Infinite Undiscovery: Trailer
- Chocobo and the Magic Picture Book: Trailer, Demo
- Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon DS+: Trailer, Demo
In any event, feel free to check the source link below for the full listing of titles that'll be a part of TGS '08. Also take heart at the fact that Square Enix is also coming out with some sort of Snoopy title for the DS. Sweet.

Maybe if they focused on less titles we can actually play them before the next generation of consoles. Where are the epic role playing games for Playstation 3? The Playstation brand has been a powerhouse for great role playing games but it is going on 2 years and still no great standout titles in the rpg arena for the PS3 system yet. I can't believe companies are not excited and willing to make a truly large rpg for the Playstation 3. Maybe if they weren't concerned as much about the other consoles they could show real passion for their careers and make some huge titles with the blu-ray format. Whats up with that?
Wonder if they'll release anything about the new MMO they are supposedly working on... wonder how absolutely torturous they can make this next one.
Farmed Leeches for Vials of Bird Blood for 6 hours this weeked and all I can say is man my Thf looks pimp but my skin seems pale.
Kingdom hearts 3 for PS3 is what i want to see.
I think at this point we won't see another one until PS4

Chrono Trigger Best game ever! My fav game! Is for Snes that actually a Play in the PSP and past all with Snes9x 4.03!
Hope it comes for PSP and PS3 with cool graphics, new story and unveil the Past!

Although SE has some dead on in your face games, we won't be seeing any of them hit retailers anytime soon. It's been ages since XIII was in development. Last time I've heard it was supposedly be released sometime this year. But yet again it was delayed. I'm not blaming them heck I LOVE SE.
yay for birth by sleep and 358/2 days, coded too i guess, but i wont be happy til i see kingdom hearts 3, come on even some extremely short cheap teaser trailer like the GoW3 trailer... I WANT KH3 SCREENSHOTS OR SOMETHING... lol.. the wait is killing me

there was not that much great titles on PS2 and PS1 at the same time we are in PS3 lifespan. I agree with you and the only thing that went wrong this generation is that near 25 millions people have made the choice of screwing the gaming industry.
