Square Enix: No Kingdom Hearts PSP for now |

The PSP community seems all about petitions lately with different groups of gamers clamoring to see their favorite games - like Resident Evil - on their much-loved handhelds. Among these many petitions is a request for Square Enix to make a portable Kingdom Hearts title.According to petitioner Rafael Bernard, he sent Square Enix an email the other day and pointed out to the company the online petition he started. Currently, the total number of signatories is around 1,700 but Bernard mentioned that he is planning to gather some 18,000 more.
Rafael Bernard doesn't have to wait too long for a reply because one representative from Square Enix already sent in another email. According to the company's customer support personnel:
Our parent company, Square Enix of Japan, has no current plans to create a sequel to Kingdom Hearts at this time. This is not to say that it will never happen, it's just that their development teams are currently focusing on numerous other projects, Namely Final Fantasy: Crisis Core and a few others.
On a hopeful note for all Kingdom Hearts fans, it should be remembered that character designer Tetsuya Nomura revealed back in May that they are planning something special for Kingdom Hearts. Nomura said that it isn't going to be Kingdom Hearts III as it is more of a side story to tie some loose ends. The designer didn't specify, however, on what platform it will be released.

Hmm too bad it was a great game on ps2. I was shocked at QJ's recent change, them saying that they now openly support downloading ISOs. So now I should ask you, the QJ visitors - true or false you download psp games? Write the answer in your post. Thank you. It also doesent make a difference wheter you vote this post up or down - it always stays visible.
I dunno where you got that info (us being supportive of dl'ing isos), but I maintain that we're still against isos and anything illegal. That said, I'll be among the first to answer your mini poll. I don't download PSP games, I just use the ones we have here. LOL. Thanks. :)

Why dont people want original IPs on PSP? Did they play 200 bucks for ***** they've already played? How many games do they want SE to release on PSP this year? There's still 3 due out this year. If I were SE, I would've given these petition losers the big FU
Because like there are people who didnt play those games and dont want to buy a ps2 or ps3 but have a psp. I want okami and soulcalibur on psp
I bet that they will make a ds version before they make a PSP one. Everyone here knows that a PSP version would kill what ever they make for a ds.

as a big kingdom hearts fan i think its mad that they dont give the psp a chance if they like nintendo then stick with them what next Kingdom hearts on a wii and no kingdom hearts on ps3
Maybe some stuff just shouldnt be available on the PSP.
STFU, ok. I don't get where you have the nerve to tell Square Enix off. They are the greatest RPG franchise. They never said it won't happen they said due to the other projects in hand they don't have the time at the moment. You think you live in a perfect world where anything can happen. You become a dev and tell me how easy it is to make games. In this day and age its not easy, get that through your head.
