Ooh. We're one step closer to finally getting an English version of Dissidia! As an email from Dudeee points out, Square Enix's official North American website for Dissidia is finally open.

Just so you know, there's not much content in it yet. However, considering how much stuff is packed in the Japanese website, we can expect the North American site to roll out with the punches as well.

You can head to the Dissidia: Final Fantasy site through the Via link below. There's nothing much to do, but you can click either Cosmos or Chaos' silhouette, and it will tip the scales over. Hmm. So. What will you fight for, anyways?

Thanks to Dudeee for the heads up!

» Why don't I care?

It seems like I'm the only PSP owner who's played more than 1 FF game who isn't excited about this game, despite the ridiculously high coverage and hype it's receiving.

My lack of interest dates back to Kingdom Hearts 2, where watching Cloud and Sephiroth fight each other by jumping around like idiots and going *shiiing* *tang* with their swords while saying cliche things to one another killed my enthusiasm as much now as it did in Gundam Wing many years ago. It just left me feeling like I was cheated out of an awesome fight seen by morons who played with action figures more than they watched movies or martial art tournaments.

Once the first trailer for Dissidia was shown, I was greeted with the EXACT same thing... "Ho ho, you can't win" *flies around while while shooting stuff* "I have to fight for my friends or whatever" *dodges crap and jumps off of something*.

This game will have to rely entirely on an enjoyable fighting engine, since that stupid Compilation of Final Fantasy VII project killed the fanboy in me.
