Spider-Man: Web of Shadows release date confirmed |
Ó
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows steps out of the shadows as Activision confirmed today its release date. It's going to be on October 21st, and there's even a tie-in promo with Best Buy. The retail store is offering an all-new collectible art book as a gift for purchasing the game. Now, that kinda confuses us a bit. By "gift", did they mean they'll be offering it at a certain price (which they did not disclose), or did they mean "free"? I know I'd like to get that free art book! But for some reason, I have a feeling it won't be. Cause they're just "offering" it, not "giving" it.
Anyway, enough with the semantics. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows (Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, DS, Wii, PSP, and PC) is set in an apocalyptic New York City, where players are given an unprecedented level of gameplay choices. Even more interesting about this title is that for the first time ever, you, the player will get to have control over the game's direction and ultimate outcome. So make it cool, ayt?

players have the option to control the outcomes of the games since long time. maybe in a certain controlled level, but you can go to different endings based on the options you make along the way...
i guess you know that, but if that's what you mean, it aint great news
I read that to mean "first time in a Spiderman game".
dude learn to read...
but maybe it's the Heavy Rain type of being open-ended? Not sure if it's taking open-endedness to the same level as Heavy Rain seems to take it, but, hmmm, interesting to say the least. That, and dude! It's a Spiderman game! ^_^
looks like this:

btw, there's wolverine on the game.
They are copying same slow-mo fighting styles as GOW. Doesnt matter what ending you choose- still a Spiderman game nothing new that we dont see in any other game. Sorry Not interesting to me as GOW is. After playing GOW Spidy seems, I dont know, a bit weak....?
