Sony Updates PSP Connect and Sonic Stage |
Ó
Sony's just updated PSP Connect - a website that lets you download and watch streaming videos, among other things, on your PSP (for US residents only). All they updated for PSP Connect, though, was a few new videos. You can go to the website on your PSP browser and download them to your Memory Stick as mp4 files. Sony hasn't completely forgotten about that website but at least they're still trying. You can also use Sonic Stage to manage music on your PSP. There should be a guide for it out soon, not by Sony but by a user at PSP-Vault, so check the site out often for that update, and it will show you how to use Sonic Stage with your PSP using easier methods.

i have been using sonic stage for quite some time now for my psp. it's been ready, it connects to the psp automatically. it converts mp3's into atrac3 format, smaller files at higher quaity. it's simple to use, easy to understand. no need to wait, get it now. you must be connected to the internet to install. once installation is finished, restart, connect psp to pc, run sonic stage, add your mp3's to your libary, click the transfer button, select the psp from the list of options, highlight songs and click the arrow button pointing at the psp side of screen, and let it work. depending on your memstick, the files are stored in the root directory, on a duo two files are created, on a duo pro one file. enjoy - twiz
:" a website that lets you download and watch streaming videos, among other things, on your PSP (for US residents only)": Umm you can't stream those, nor can you download them directly to your PSP, as they are all Ziped.
I'm using SonicStage since it first came out, before that there was OpenMG. It was used with the MiniDisc to store large amount of music and still having a great sound quality. SonicStage is the program you must have if you have Sony music products such as CDs, MDs, MP3 and many more. It's even more than that, the layout of the program is superb, its one of the easiest programs to use, select different skins, you can minimize it to an on-screen music player of 2" by 1/2", you can buy your music directly through SonicStage Try it out and if you don't like it, just uninstall it and if you do like it, then I'm glad that I made someone happy :D
