Spring promises to be a download-heavy season for PS3 owners as the PlayStation Store will be getting a whole slew of new downloadable games over the season thanks to Sony's PSN Spring Fever event.

All throughout Spring, there will be a dedicated PSN Spring Fever section with games, trailers, and themes available for download. It'll start early, too, kicking off with tomorrow's Flower release. Here are a few of the titles that are slated to be released in the coming months:
  • Flower
  • Noby Noby Boy
  • No Gravity
  • Wheel of Fortune
  • Burn Zombie Burn
  • Ragdoll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic
  • The Punisher: No Mercy
  • Bomberman Ultra
  • Flock
  • Comet Crash
  • Watchmen

I'm probably the only one who is looking at Wheel of Fortune, which probably tells you that I'm 1 out of the 5 people who bought Jeopardy.

This was one of the main reasons that the PS3 was delayed for a year. They were trying to copy the online service that MS was offering. They know if they didn't they would be sunk. This is great move for them even if it was way too late. The issue was that they had no devlopment talent so they needed a yead to build a server farm to allow people to download content. MS are experts in this sort of technology. They are so far behind as far as development and the API to their console is lacking severly.
