Its almost like Sony doesnt want the psp to succeed. They keep doing stuff to f*ck it up.
For instance, it should have had a Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy game available at launch. That would have almost guaranteed its success.

otherwise, DS WILL REIGN FOREVER!

Then again, what else do you expect from Sony?

"SCEA may retrieve information about a user’s hardware to identify the correct directories for deposit of the download. "
Does that mean they're collecting information about our firmware or something?

1. Many would argue that Sony did not give us the best because they did not give us the best games to play on the PSP (which IS primarily) a game system)!
2. Sony has never given free games unless you count the periodic demos.
3. Sony has never given the ability to play playstation games for free. That functionality was provided by Dark Alex in spite of Sony. Sony's plan was to sell you the games all over again after making you buy a PS3 and a PSP.
"..can only think of negatives." Well, sort of. There is one gigantic negative people are focusing on: the PSP is a game system that does not have a huge supply of good games, and Sony doesn't seem to be worried about it!

And Sony did give us free games. They made me a console which I could merely put an ISO on and play. If thats not free gaming, I don't know what is.
And the fact that Sony released the PSX games and DAX did his magic, means that Sony now gave us free PSX games on our PSP.
And there are great games for the PSP. Portable Ops was great, MGA was great, Loco Roco was great, a bunch of greatness. Now even more greatness, I can put any PSX game pretty much onto it.

if they are trying to make people wanna buy games, cg movies arent the way to go. didnt they learn anything of their killzone video?????
games are exspensive, and money still aint growing on trees. so making great demos are a way of catching the youth's attention. and making them wanna buy their games. making a video is so far from actual gameplay, and it dont have the same effect.
if my writing is misspelled i'm excused from the fact that i'm a dane. og vi taler dansk og ikke engelsk, bøsserøve.
