Sony opens web browser for PlayStation Store |

Anyway, we discovered something that might change all these in the near future. There is now a web browser of the PlayStation Store that can be accessed without the console. It features several content such as movies, trailers, demos, and as we've mentioned, full PSOne originals for your handhelds.
But it seems that this version of the store is still in its "testing stage" so to speak, as fans can't buy anything from there yet. It's just there for those who have eyes to see. All in all, we have to say that this is a rather interesting development. Could Sony be working on something that is actually useful for PSP users?

Choosing a PSP news site is like choosing a political leader.
They all suck, but you since you have to choose, you choose the one that sucks the least.
I actually think it's some type of reference page to see what is on the store without turning on your PS3. If you click download on an item it tells you how to do it on your PS3 and nothing else. Hopefully that changes soon.

All that was said was you can use your normal browser to look at the Ps Store and it turns into the above?
Ok then... Some of you need serious mental help and im 100% serious about that... Please, for the sake of the human race go talk to a family memeber or a friend..
we're going to have to wait a while unfortunatley. they said that there would be some new exciting developments for the psp coming this may and i bet this is what they were talking about. i know that waiting sucks, but if its for something this good.......what the hell i hope it comes out sooner

Every week I send them new on the new PSP2! But they either don't post it up or they post it and put it as "rumours"! How dare they! Its always from a reliable source! And even comes complete with picture clearly designed with Pant Shop!! HOW DARE YOU INDEED!!
Since I use Dark_Alex's latest custom firmware I hope that this means that as soon as Sony locks the store a new custom firmware or a patch arrives to give us all the ability to buy our PS games instead of only being able to use an image to create an eboot.
I wonder if this means that the PS3 will be worth getting now, since Sony won't be using it to hold the PSN hostage much longer I mean.
If you goto the link you can clearly see that its not a place for PSP owners to go and download games. Its just a place for people to goto and see whats in the Playstation Store. There isn't even any talk about the stuff there being downloadable from the that site.
Here in the West we like to call it a "web site". A browser is the software you use to access it. Please do keep up with the times and the terribly confusing 21st century terminology, QJ.

Read the first paragraph and it states it all very cleary, the site is infact to let people know about the playstation stores and how to access it VIA the PLAYSTATION 3

If they meant that, they should've written that. It's not that I don't understand what it says, it's just that the article, as it is, makes no sense.

"PlayStation store accessible via the PSP's web browser" - no problem
but

At mohaas05 - the download button is to go and see what will be available to download at the Playstation®Sto re only downloadable through the PS3 browser.
Open your eyes. No where on this site http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Store does it say Download. All it says under each item is the name of what it is and then it links to a page about that item.
