Sony: Get a free game with PSP Go

Planning to pick up a new PSP Go before the holidays? Well here's some good news for you. Sony has launched a new PSP Go promotion that sees any existing PSP Go owners and any new customers who plans to purchase Sony's latest handheld to receive a free game.

According to Adam Grant, PSP European Product Manager, SCEE, starting today, if you purchase a PSP Go or if you're an existing owner who downloaded the PSP Go Promotion Theme from PSN that is now available, you can download a game completely free. You can choose from either Gran Turismo, MotorStorm Arctic Edge or the awesome action-adventure AssassinÂ’s Creed: Bloodlines. In Germany the 3 games that are on offer are Gran Turismo, MotorStorm Arctic Edge and LittleBigPlanet. All you have to do is set up or sign into your PlayStationNetwork account, then visit PlayStationStore to download a special PSP Go Promotion Theme.

This will trigger an email from PlayStationStore containing an e-voucher. Enter the code onto the PlayStationStore via your PSPgo and select which game you would like to download. The voucher will be with you within a week, but you should get it much quicker than that.

It does NOT work with US accounts, so what you have to do is get an account which is in a EUROPEAN/ GERMANY country or whatever, then you goto the "Latest" section( which is not in the US PSN Store via psp go 6.20 ( media go/ps3 psn store wont work), then just follow the directions given above, its just like the October 1st-10 freebie

If we do then We may miss the Downgrade... since the psp does not have a battery to make a Pandora battery it does matter what firmware you are on... so even though i would love to get one free game... i will forgo it to get cfw.

Gosh!!! It is troublesome to download the game. I tried it and guess what? After you register the PSP Go, in order to get the game, you will need a UMD and a PSP-2000 or PSP-3000 and connect to PSN using the same account that being activited on PSP Go. That the way to get the promotion code and the game. =.='' MAN..It sucks big time!!

Like this, I have to borrow my friend PSP-2000 to get the game.

That's a different promotion.

go to the "LATEST" bar (I think the top one), and DL the "PSP GO promotion theme". that's the one that will get you an emailed voucher for a game.

I thought it was the same as you, but I re-read the steps from the site (eu.playstation.com/pspgopromotion) , and realized I was wrong.

Its right under the second pic (the one that shows a "theme")

The DS is way above the PSP in terms of sales because Nintendo's a family name and their consoles are focused more on family enjoyment, children and the elderly. Look at all the DSi owners rebuying their DS in a netbook form -.-

Sony's putting out these promotion to ATTRACT buyers, since they're not doing as well as the DS. How would this deal cause the DS to continue reigning over the PSP?

ive been waiting for 26 days now for my code so i wouldnt hold your breath... if you check on the playstation forum you will see a lot of poeple complaining about this abd havent recieved there code at all... well over 30 days in... this is all just a ploy to get you to buy games while you wait.. beware ... sony have been very sneaky on this
