Sony considering comic book / graphic novel service for PS Store |
Ó

Although homebrewers have been enjoying Archaemic's PSPComic for quite some time now, Sony's only just getting into the act. A survey shows that Sony is considering a new comic book and graphic novel service for the PS Store.
Judging from the questions in the survey, Sony is also considering a subscription fee for this service, which means a flat rate per month for full access to all their available comics. And just how will the comic reader work, you ask? Here's a mock-up that Sony prepped up (which shows how seriously they're considering the service):

That would be freaking coo!! Then I can read some marvel or DC comics on my PSP while on a family road trip while listening to my music :)
As long as the actual storage location for the comics you view was your PSP this would be great but if you have to have wifi access to use it all the time it would be pretty useless.
I tend to read my comics on my PSP at a nice peaceful park but it has no wi fi there so yeah it would be useless for me unless you could download it first and take it with you.
I gave up buying comics because of they just took up too much room on real paper and became tricky to manage and keep in order. I tend to selectively go for the trade paper/hardback editions these days.
I wonder what's the format for this one. Also, the auto-flow feature is nice. I just hope that when this gets release, it won't be expensive. Also, I hope they will have tons of comic archives and manga. haha
I just downloaded The Watchmen Comic and put it in my psp last night, because
1-I've never used the PSPComic included in iRshell and
2-I've never read the comic and I think I should before I go see the movie
...we got bookr sony takes the scene's ideas and profits it....
Those two programs I don't use that often. I noticed that Bookr does not support pages in color with .pdf's. Though it may have been the file I downloaded.
like streaming for me...
