Sony has announced that this week will be the last chapter of the digital comics store service on the PSP.

"This week will be the final update for digital comics on the PSP," notes Grace Chen, Director of the PlayStation Store, in a post over at the US PlayStation blog. "The Digital Comics Team will continue to work on bringing the comic service to other Sony devices," she added. What platform it might that be is still up in the air, well hopefully they can bring it the PlayStation Vita, but for now, let's simply savour the last batch of comics for the PSP.

Typical Sony though, they think nothing of pulling support for services or products - it's why I don't buy any of their kit outside of Playstation or Vaio.
