Software charts in Sweden: The Burning Crusade is king across platforms |
Ó
What are they playing over at Sweden? Aren't you curious? This bit of
info just might save your life one day, y'know. The region's data trade
firm, Dataspelsbranschen (now try saying that as fast as you can, ten
times consecutively), has just released the top sales charts of video games
for Sweden. The Multiplatform chart is dominated by the MMORPG mogul that is The World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade from Blizzard. This is followed by Pokémon Diamond on the Nintendo DS. MotorStorm and R:FoM have also landed a place in the multiplatform chart, and unsurprisingly, both titles get bragging rights in the PS3 chart.
The 360 chart has Guitar Hero II fronting the musical act - and smack dab in the middle is Gears of War on fifth place. The Wii has Leon Kennedy and Ashley Graham running up to first place with Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, while Twilight Princess is galloping up to the Top 2 spot.
On the handheld side, the DS chart has both Pokemon (Diamond and Pearl) titles on top, while the PSP chart has Pro Evolution Soccer 6 kicking into the goal - Konami's sports title is enjoying the kingly spot on top.

I was first agn!!! WoW suckzorz!!!111!!1!!1!
I just got to ask "Why the F*CK does anyone post this kind of crap on QJ? Got out of interesting news? You just got to tell us about the f*cking boring swedish sh*t crap? Yeah. I thought so."
Did anyone noticed that there are no 360 or Wii games listed in the multiformat top 10.
I just got to ask "why is it that the first two post are alway gay."
its cause they suck. im pretty shocked that gears of war didnt make it on the list. And for those ps3 owners who bought transformers must be pretty disapointed.
"On the handheld side, the DS chart has both Pokemon (Diamond and Silver) titles on top" what were you thinking? its pearl not silver! -Z7Shaft
yeah there's a mistake. Qj has to fix that.
YES SWEDEN GAMING CHARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not....
It's fun cuz i'm swedish. And I can say this: Tack för att ni varierar era nyheter! Tack för allt det är alltid kul att läsa era artiklar. and this to you, lame commenters: ni suger och borde skaffa er liv.
Swedes happen to care you moron.
Jag håller med fullständigt! Kul att man inte är ensam svensk som skriver :D
Måste man visa de svenska listorna i utlandet också?! Vi skämmer ju ut oss... Sims 2 H&M :(
oh my dear god you swedish lamers! I really hope from the bottom of my heart that you DO NOT come to the forums speaking your sh*tty language that no-one understands! Why is it that the Finnish gaming charts never make it here? (Retional question, do not answer!) And this is for you, you swedish bastards!: "Jag är från Finland och jag tycker swedish are bastards!" And for my finnish colleagues: "Ruottalaiset pilaa tän koko paikan!"
Nästan bara skitspel i topp, vad är det med oss? xD translation: Almoust only crap-games in top, whats wrong with us?
Gamecards, säljer bra men själva spelet börjar dö
your on your own mate... oh yeh, and Haista vittu
What the hell is this? Why are people in my country buying these ***** games? I blame the DS, I see too little PSPs around here.
I just can't understand why SWEDISH gaming charts would be published here. Not very interesting, even for us Swedes. I mean, if Swedes were interested in the seeling numbers, we certainly wouldn't go to QJ to check it out. And I'm not planning to either. We have www.gamereactor.com for that purpose - not that it's great, but it's sufficient and Swedish. I understand that US readers don't think this is very interesting, because it's barely interesting even for Swedes. Gaming charts in general, even, are not that interesting.
