SOCOM Fireteam Bravo update: screenshots |
Ó

You may have read about the details of the next installment in the SOCOM series for the PSP, SOCOM US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2, which surfaced yesterday. Another day, and another update as screenshots have started to make their way across the Internet today. The PSP version of the SOCOM franchise will feature a new dynamic mission style, where you actually have to explore the whole map in order to complete your mission objectives. A welcome change to the sometimes 'linear' approach to missions on the original SOCOM Fireteam Bravo. These screenshots look really good, and being able to explore the maps fully during campaign missions will be amazing with the quality of these graphics.

Thanks for the heads up UncleGuito!

If they take a cue from Syphon Filter in the controls department, this could be the best shooter on the PSP. Drop the autolock!
I havent played Spyhon Filter yet but I think this is awsome news! I can't wait for new socomarena ladders for this.
THIS GAME IS GONNA PWNPWNPWNPWNPWNPWN cuz the first one rox sept new levels better grafics an shizz !
Im not getting to because of the first FTB. Sony never fixed the god dam problems with an update!
that guy looks stationary in all those pics.
Instead of fixing the problems with FTB they figure this will be more profitable by relaesing an FTB 2.0 - this is their fix, lol. PS> I hope it doesn't require 3.0 *fingers crossed*
when is this coming out?
WOW! We brits still haven't got the first one!!!!!!!
I am interested in this but Syphon filter has set a totally new standard and it is not easy to even come close to this great game.
psp2 will be out in like 3 years retard
This game looks cool. Aren't these pics from Club Skill's preview?
and those graphics are truly an upgrade from the first one, for the controls i prefered it till i played syphon filter but sometimes i get confused when i switch back to socom. and oh sf online sucks.
Hey, it's me UncleGuito. These are indeed from the preview on our site, Club Skill. The game is due out on November 6th, so check out more info here: http://www.clubskill.com/Game_News/3120/
they'll of released the first one in the uk by nov 6
Are you freaking retarded? DEE DEE DEE PSP2 Will be what, 2010? dude the PSP has only 1 year in the market, and dude, the graphics look basically the same $|-|I¯|¯ SYPHON FILTER RULEZ
^please don't talk out of your ass its not very appealing. No one knows when the next psp is coming out so just stop talking out of your ass you know nothing and if you do provide a link.
I don't own socom or SF but i do play quake and doom on psp a bit, what are the controls for these games? ie how ar ethey mapped, everyone keeps talking about it but i'm in the dark here :)
u think u kno everything lik u said the psp has only being in the market for a year why in hell would sony plan on releasin a psp2 by next year or even 2008 maybe a redisign and lower the mem. stick price tag lik i said befor ps. unless ur blind, those graphics look better than the first socom and syphon filter online sucks, get it into ur head
Yea I have the quake controls mapped like socom. UP-arrow = Zoom in Down-arrow = zoom out Left-arrow = change weapon Right-arrow = free look X = shoot [] = hook O = Jump /\ = jet pack L-trigger = strafe left R-trigger = strafe right *Y-axis inverted (perfered)
Hopefully they change the stupid control....into....something like the Star Wars BattleFront II R Trigger=Fire Weapon Up Arrow= Move Forward Down Arrow= Move Backward Right Arrow= Move Right Left Arr0w = Move Left L Trigger=Change Weapon Select= Zoom In / Out /\=Look up [ ]=Look Left X =Look Down O=Look Right
#23 If you are familiar with betamax you must be at least 35 to 40 and I am in college. #22 Eew, that is a nasty control scheme - almost as bad as coded arms :p

I have just heard that the controls will be exactly be the same but when you hold down the r button it slows down your movement.
