As you may know already, QJ will be covering E3 2006 live from the show floor with up-to-minute updates and news. Of course, we've set up tours, interviews, RSVPed for parties and have outlined things that we think you guys want to hear about. However, I just realized that we at QJ actually converse with our readers with our handy comment box at the bottom, so it may be smarter to ask directly: what do you want us to do at E3? I'd like to get a feel of whether or not I'm properly synced with you guys so that I'll report things you actually want to read.Of course, we can't do EVERYTHING that is asked of us, but we'll keep your comments in mind. Please keep requests brief, number them if there are more than one, limit them to being comments under this article, and please don't ask us to steal things for you (Halo 3, Wii, or PS3) - We're getting those for ourselves, dammit). Lastly, I'm expecting these requests to be fairly esoteric in nature, no need to tell us to report "important things" on the Wii, PS3, or PSP because we were planning on that already. However, if there is a title you're dying to hear about or a question that you need to have asked, let us know. Who knows, you may end up getting what you ask for.

see if you can find any more info on the rumor that sony might be getting help from microsoft because of problems with the ps3 and see if you can dig up info on the psp2 if they are going to push that to get rid of homebrew/ umd format that way.basicly see how bad sony is screwing themselfs for trying to stop millions from doing things better then they could with there on hardware
Anything you could report on Crisis Core would be nice. Also, for the Cellular blog, maybe some info on the possibility of Before Crisis coming to North America? Also, as a personal request, could you find a way to scratch off any "Wii" markings you may find on the Revolution demo stations? That would mean a lot to me.

I won't be there, so help me out by finding information on the next Super Smash Bros. I want to know how the game mechanics are going to work. If we'll still be able to wavedash, short hop, fast fall, l-cancel, jump cancel, etc. I want to know if the competitive side will be intact. And "peeespee", this isn't PSPUpdates. The Opera-based browser for the Nintendo DS (Lite) if it is there would be nice to read about. And #32, see that .qj.net? Try putting ds or revolution infront of it. This site handles almost everything. Not just PSP.
Its all about the PS3 this E3 and you know it. Sure the wii has a lot of mistery behind it since they refuse to show demos (Why would they show demos of crappy graphics) and istead insist on you trying out their Wiimotes. Anyway here you go! * PS3 Network * PS3 Games in action (play some damn it) * PS3 Controller * PS3 Price * PS3 HDD * PS3's MGS4 * PS3 Final Fantasy XIII * PS3 High Def movies in all their real time glory! * PSP ps1 emulator. * PSP White psp release date (need to get my second might as well be white). Wii Questions: * Are Wii's graphics as bad as predicted? * Will wii be as cheap as the gamecube? * Will people like the Wii remote? * Will your arm get completely sore from 5 minutes of Wii action? 360: We already know pretty much everything. Yes Halo will be coming and yes 360 will roll out 30 more FPS before the year's end.
Ask around if the public version of the XDK will be released for the 360, and when will be able to make homebrew for the 360. Actually ask SONY, Nintendo and Microsoft what their plans are for homebrew on their consoles. When will the new 360 be coming out with the cooler CPU. Finnaly ask all publishers if there are any cross platform muliplayer gaming? And not PC-360 like Final Fantasy. Answering all the above questions would be great :P and please take some picture of the boothes, like the overall shot, that would be awesome!

Funny how I can't seem to think of any good questions when it's important. Anyway, here are ten things I would love coverage on at E3 (In no particular order) 1) Baten Kaitos DS (was mentioned before DS was even created yet I’ve heard nothing on it) 2) Camelot RPG (Supposed one for the Wii. PLEASE let it be Golden Sun) 3) Wii racing game (Reggie Fils-Aime promised one, I want to know what it is) 4) Sony UMD Movie plans (Will they abandon the format or drop prices?) 5) Tales of the Tempest DS (Videos and info on release date) 6) Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (release date and Wii changes in gameplay) 7) Baten Kaitos 2 (Videos and US release date) 8) Super Smash Bros. Wii (Videos, how it works with the controller, etc) 9) Metroid Prime 3 (Videos and any info) 10) PSP RPGs (WHERE ARE THEY?!)
The Wii racing game is likely to be a Mario Kart or a F-Zero. Possibly a Kirby's Air Ride sequel. About my previous comment about Reggie: I raced him and 2 other people. That's like winning the lottery. I'm pissed because instead of winning 1 mil, all i got was bragging rights.

I've talked about this on GAP, but no one has commented (either good or bad) on this there. An idea I've had for a way for Sony to embrace the Homebrew community (and then leach talent away by offering gaming contracts to the better ones) is to provide a portal of sorts to get Homebrew signed. They would need 1 or 2 people to just check the Homebrew to make sure it isn't doing potentially shady things (like allowing ripping and playing ISOs of their games, destroying firmware, launching viruses, etc), apply the signing method, and then post the signed Homebrew somewhere (like their network servers, Playstation underground, or here). I can understand why some of us cringe at allowing Sony to reject ISO ripping, emulation, etc... But if we give a little here and play by honorable rules, it might convince Sony to give a little and provide a conduit to sign Homebrew so it can run on the latest firmware w/o EULA bending hacks. Imagine if we could get Sony to sign the lua engine. Homebrewers win because they can do what they like to do, and Sony wins because they have access to a pool of emerging talent. Sounds win-win to me. (I'm an Amigan, and remember when Team17 (and many others) was a demo coding group before they came up with Worms.) A similar model could be applied to people who want to code for the PS3. I've wanted to pitch this to Sony, but never knew the right channels to get a responce. I hope you like it enough to try to mention it to some Sony reps (either in my incarnation or with your own spin) and get feed back at E3.

I say you should focus on the (arguably) 4 biggest companies in this year's E3. Sony Nintendo Square Enix Konami I'm sure there's plenty of good games to be shown, but everyone is going to want to get news from these 4 juggernauts first. Sony has PS3, Nintendo has Wii, Square has various FF titles (and maybe FFXIII), and Konami of course has MGS4.
I really think that time shouldn't be wasted trying to convince Sony of the advantage of embracing the Homebrew community. The only way that I see that happening if Sony, forced by an impending bankruptcy, decided to sell their Playstation division to Microsoft and through them Homebrew is seen for the profitable asset that it truely could be. ---------------------------------------------------- My primary interest is finding out from Sony their plans for the furture of the PSP. Is there plans for a PSP2? Will UMDs be phased out as a bad venture? Will the popularity of the IPod influence PSP evolution into a clone device or will the PSP continue to distinguish itself as a unique singularity, etc. etc... ---------------------------------------------------- ~ ~ ~ QJ stands for "Quagmire Jambalaya" (meaning: a place where you can bring all your issues and they can be resolved in a potpourri of resorce)

Good stuff guys. I have a good idea of a 'coverage heirarchy' now. Some tidbits so people don't worry: -For those who want us to cover Guitar Hero 2, don't worry, we have an interview with the devs and will be demo-ing it. -Definitely drilling Sony about PSP updates and games. I'll ask what their opinion on Homebrew is, but I don't think I'll pitch it to them. -Of course, SquareEnix and Konami will be covered.
i would just like to know about everything that is said by everybody, even the public! but in all serious just anything new on PSP and PS3 P.S, i know the staff here will be reading this, so is it possible that you could make a sub heading or something for the homebrew bits on the PSP section because i just want to know about games and news when i come on here, im not a big fan of homebrew and it is constantly there and pushing the stuff i would like to see down. Check and see how many new games will be coming out for the PS2 and if Sony is going to still support it for a few years or until the Playstation 3 comes out. Also, check and see if they will allow the PS3 to write homebrew games for the PSP

I definately agree with the person that mentioned Shenmue. I've been waiting like four years since I played Shenmue II on my Sega Dreamcast. I know Xbox had a port of it a while later but they probably screwed it up, dubbed it over and cut out some things. And it's still just 2, not anything more than what I beat. I NEED to know what happens to Ryo, Ren, Joy, Gui Zhang and Lan Di! Shenmue II had like the biggest cliffhanger ending in videogame history. Please tell me Sega and F.R.E.E is teaming up someone on next Gen--preferably Nintendo Wii--to bring the third installment to life.
If Sony keeps falling short on its promises please let me know about it. So far Im not impressed. -I havent seen a single game played using the ps3. They all seem to be videos. -We need to know the price. -Online gaming. Whats their progress report? - Are they going to copy Xbox Live or is it going to be somthing completely different? -Are the specs for the ps3 still acurate? -Is November still the shipping date? -Will it still play games at 1080P? All I've been hearing is hype! You need to grill these people. Im getting tired of reading that PS3 is going to be the ultimate system, and then hearing a cryptic report that their might be problems. The 360 was showing playable games 6 months before release, and its making me nervous to see that Sony is not.

Could you please QJ go play the Insomnaic demo of Resistance fall of man, this game has me like hooked on the PS3 and will be the first game I am going to buy. I want to know how the gameplay is ? how the controls are ? what the storyline is? is it crazy like over the top amazing? Is it a "Halo killer"?(I can dream:)) Is it over the top gore? Dark and depressing? Scary? Its okay if you don't play it I just wanted some of my questions answered. P.S. Do you think from E3 is the PS3 more powerful and more enjoyable than the 360?
