SN Systems announces 50 percent price cut for PSP dev tools |
Ó
SN Systems, a subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) has recently announced that it will be offering a 50 percent price reduction for all its development tools for the PSP.The price cut is expected to affect dev software including full and rental versions of ProDG, Tuner, Build Tools and ProView licenses ordered for the company's UK office. SN Systems' director Andy Beveridge has this to say regarding the news:
SN Systems development tools for PSP are well-established and mature, having been on sale since the end of 2004. Since then, the tools have grown extensively as a result of direct feedback from PSP game title developers. Significantly reducing the cost of the tools will help to ensure that PSP game title developers have everything they need to continue creating great titles. This price reduction, coupled with the recent addition of Tuner (performance optimizer) to ProDG for PSP, makes the core development tool a very attractive package.
Aside from SN's software, the price cut will extend to support fees. Developers seeking to renew their yearly support on existing PSP products will also fall under the reduction. The dev tool markdown is to be implemented this February 4 - those interested in picking up more details on the company's tools will want to visit its website via the source link below.
