Shifting gears: Gran Turismo and another *release date post* |

Probably known as PSP's most anticipated "on-again-off-again" racing title is Gran Turismo 4. At its best, the game's release date seems to be ever-changing; at its worst, some have even already given up all hope and say it's been cancelled.
Time to pump some fuel back into your souls. In their official website, EBGames has notched GT's release date on July 2 of this year. It's been a long time coming, and maybe a lot of you guys are now jumping for joy that finally the finish line is just down the stretch.
However, due to not having any confirmation whatsoever from Polyphony Digital and Sony themselves, we're going to have to toss some salt over this and hang the "Rumor" sign on the handbrake. If you've been able to wait for two years now (the game was announced back in 2004), then a 5-month wait until July is more than bearable. Updates in the future? You bet.

This is why Polyphony is working on newer content for both PSP and PS3 to communicate via Remote Play. So I'm happy that GT4 is coming out later on this year! If this true then I can play PS3 on PSP for better close up!

You didn't get first, you moron.
You realise that EBGames just put up 'estimated' release dates in order to receive and prolong pre-orders right? They don't have any extra information than anyone else until the game goes gold, which is usually way after the official release date is set. Honestly QJ you really need an editor who actually checks what's posted, or atleast 'reporters' who actually know something about the area they report on.
This January I will be leaving my bedroom to visit mummy & daddy and show them all the first posts that I made on QJ Net.. It doesn't matter that I didn't get paid, or that I don't win anythjing for getting the first post or that 99% of people on here think im a tosser and didn't really care 1 minutes later that I posted first, as they where more interested in PSP Gaming... Dad, it helps boosts my severely low self esteem by acting like a pathic loser on the internet.
So they are releasing GT for psp sweet!

As much as I want this now. I think the best time to bring this out would be for the Christmas Holiday of 07 this would push lots of sales for the PSP and the Holidays will be a hard time for the PSP so that would be a great time to bring it out.
Why on earth would the holidays be a hard time for the PSP? You do realise that they sell considerably more around Christmas than any other time of the year and the PSP has absolutely no difference in market spending timing than any other console right? I swear this place is just ridiculous.
Whenever EB or Gamestoip puts a the second as a release date it means they don't really know when it will be out on top of that games come out on tuesdays and thursdays sorry t burst any bubbles
thatz true becuz my boyfriend workz at bestbuy n they get new dvd'z on tuesdayz and the majority of gamez on tuesdayz n thursdayz, except for holidayz n other reasons, such as shipping and recalls. Paul ur right and I'm guess Gamestop means the 3rd, or who knowz, online orders can probabli can be made one day prior to the release date in stores.
Let's face it this game will never come out.
