Hot off the presses of Play France: Both SEGA Europe and SEGA of America have confirmed that Bugbear Entertainment's SEGA Rally will be available for the PSP, and the two are considering an Autumn 2007 release for the SEGA Rally PSP title.SEGA Rally has featured exceptional graphics for its genre, as well as competitive racing modes and ease of controls. These three factors were the main emphasis in developing the SEGA Rally series.
Director of the SEGA Racing Studio, Guy Wilday, also says that the inclusion of Wi-Fi and online multiplayer modes which allow players to show off their racing skills with their friends was also considered in the development of the game because these modes were expected from SEGA Rally. He adds,
SEGA Rally is regarded as one of the best video games, and this new version for the PSP is a good example of what one can expect from traditional gameplay applied on current machines (cars) out in the market today.
SEGA Rally is to be remade from scratch for the PlayStation Portable and developed by Bugbear Entertainment Ltd. under the direction of SEGA Racing Studio, so we can be assured that it's not just a port. The franchise will also be available on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC autumn this year.

oh god please no, not another racing game! the only games they make for psp are racing games, sport games, and airplane shooting games, or once in awhile mediocre japanese rpgs and descent puzzlers. WHy not add some variety and make something like jet grind radio or heck even virtual fighter.
lame, i though it was the original sega rally for the sega saturn and arcade when i saw the title, if they rereleased that for psp it would b awesome.
Yet another racing game for the Psp. If Sony and the developers actually listened to what people wanted for the system there is no way they would be coming out with another racing game.
i think the best games for the psp are racing. with few exceptions.
Sega Rally Revo and just Sega Rally?
