Character creation and customization has been a staple feature of the Soul Calibur series since the third game and Namco Bandai isn't letting fans of the feature down in the series' PSP iteration. Today they've shared some screenshots and info on how character customization is handled in Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny for the PSP.

The game's customization aspect covers gender, hair style, clothing, voice, and coloring. As you can see in the screenshots below, you can make minute "parts adjustments" to fine-tune item positioning and width. You also be able to set the position, size, and angle of almost every aspect of your character.

One cool thing is that the game lets you make thumbnail images for your custom character. You can pose your character however way you want and then select  a background for the thumbnail. These images are shown during character selection and in battle.
