Is it me or are those graphics a little weak? LCS and VCS's graphics were both better than this...but then again CTW was primarily a DS game...
Seriously this is just pathetic, had you guys listened to my advice and NOT MADE THIS GAME, you wouldn't have to port it to PSP cause of extremely bad sales. Now that you've wasted millions in corporate money, I suggest you make a GOOD GTA game for the PSP and the iPhone and lay off the DS. It's a kids (12 and under) console, very few kids play GTA and you can make a much better looking game on the PSP/iPhone.

I never played it but apparantly this is a good game, and to me a good game's a good game whether it looks like the rest of the series or not.

who played the DS version tell me if it used the Touchscreen a lot or the mic. Because PSP is obviously missing a touchscreen and PSP1000 and PSP2000 both are missing mics. I wonder how those are going to be implemented to the PSP. Because obviously the DS was chosen for a reason instead of the PSP from what I can see.

i dont remember using the mic at all.....so IF its used in the DS version, then its probably truly minimal... and the touchscreen is used frequently.... but it can all be easily changed though

Really. He's right. I Have both a PSP with GTA LCS + VCS, and a DS with CTW. This game is bull*****! It looks like a very bad mashup of LCS and CTW (Bad idea). It has the top down view from CTW on DS, but it doesn't have the cute cartoonish graphics, which made CTW look cool on the DS. This is retarded!
More like 60MB i've downloaded some of the really big NDS roms and the biggest are like 64MB each AHAHHAHAHA
IT may be good for a DS game, but it makes no sense to port it to PSP. PSP has better hardware. Why aren't they make a 3rd action (i mean sandbox) GTA like LCS or VCS. I'm not gonna pay that crap. MAKE PSP GAMES not flash

64MB is the biggest each?? whahaha.. i just downloaded one that's 201MB, which was "KH 258/2 Days (J)".
They already have Liberty City Story. What would be the reason to even buy the game if they released the exact same city with just a different storyline(again.) The reason they're leaving it like this so that the gameplay feels different from the other games and bringing it back to the old format, for the reason that alot of people enjoy the oldschool GTA format alot better than the newer format. With this format they don't have to worry about having a single analog stick either, because we all know you guys are going to ***** about that. If it's not one thing, it's something else. The PSP comes out with alot of great games but you find one small problem with it, even if it happens to be a really good game, and then just bash the hell out of it. Trying to give yourself good reason to continue pirating games? You can't say in the last two years Sony hasn't stepped up their game, because if you do you're a *****ing retard or just blind.
Man...This is not what im expected. Gosh! PSP is far way better than DS so just create the game like it used to be before. But I understand. This is port from DS. Last time is a port from PS2. Hope next GTA game would be San Andreas. Much better graphics.

The touch screen was used often (searching through dumpsters for weapons, hot wiring cars, sorting drug inventory pouring gas in molotov's, scratching lottery tickets, etc) but nothing too important to game play. I can only remember using the mic in the mission where you dress up as a Chinese parade dragon, you blow into the mic and the dragon breathes fire. Its actually a pretty good game. Its a real GTA game just with crappy top down graphics and no good music. If they can fix that I wouldn't mind buying it, but it better not be a full priced game!

People are not giving any reason as to why the game will suck except for the graphics and it's a DS game. At least give the game a chance to see how it will play before you dog it. The DS version of the game got rated 9.5 on IGN. And if we judge all games with "different" graphics to suck, there would be alot of good games out there that we would have missed out on (Patapon, Okami, Echochrome, LocoRoco, just to name a few).

I thought it was exact due to QJ's small pictures on my psp. But looking from my computer I see lots of differences. its 3d instead of cellshaded, widescreen, and on the ds I dont remember there being an actual day-cycle. The DS version was great. It made bad sales because no parents would buy a GTA for their kid's DS and anyone who was older and willing to play had downloaded the nds rom. I am interested to see if they have included voice actors (major flaw on DS) and how they will map the previous touchscreen controls to the psp.
this game looks like a big load of crap... its good that R* decided to port it but at least they should have made better gfx... hope they decide to make it better other than that i think it have more stuff to do like in gtaiv but who knows it looks gay so far

Look at this; People thought Chinatown wars for DS Sucked when the screenshots were shown. the game did suck. The graphics here suck. thats only one reason why the game crap. Point is, this is going to suck and fail just like the DS Version.
Patapon and LocoRoco are retarded. Echochrome is genius, but also in a whole different league of its own. Good games with bad graphics would be like mario on NES or Metal Gear Solid 1. CTW may have been a good DS game, but that's because DS lacks games like GTA in the first place. Sure, I'll give it a shot when it comes out. Heck, my viewpoint may even change. All I'm saying is, by the looks of it as-is, it's definitely not up to par in PSP standards.
And what about Monster Hunter Hmmm??? Are they goingt o screw that up on the next game and make it 2d like super mario bros. BTW Super Mario Bros. owns, it's just that they screw up with games that could be better!

peope who are into games for a long time tend to develop some kind of sixth sense for games that are going to suck. also some of us probably played or saw the DS version which plays horrible. the story might be good if you're into gta like stories, but no... this game will be mediocre at best for the mainstream, and will suck stickymonkeydonkeyballs for the experienced gamers.
