SCEJ to release PSP Deep Red, PSP Deep Red 1 Seg packs |

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) sends out word that it will be releasing two new PlayStation Portable packs for its region in time for the holiday season. Beginning December 13, PSP Deep Red Value Pack and PSP Deep Red 1 Seg Pack will be available for 22,800 Yen and 29,800 Yen respectively (US$ 198.70, US$ 259.67).SCEJ said that aside from borrowing the Christmas theme for the Deep Red color of the PSP, fans in Japan has been clamoring for this exact design for some time now and it has been decided that the holiday season is the best time to launch it. Here are the contents of the separate packs so you know what suits you best:
PSP Deep Red Value Pack - PSP-2000 DR "Deep Red", AC adaptor, battery pack, pouch, hand strap, cloth, and Memory Stick Duo (32MB).
PSP Deep Red 1 Seg Pack -PSP-2000 DR "Deep Red", AC Adaptor, battery pack, "1 Seg" tuner, pouch, cloth, stand, and Memory Stick PRO Duo (1GB).
Aside from that, SCEJ also announced that it will be releasing a new battery charger that should work for both PSP-2000 (PSP Slim & Lite) and PSP-1000 (PSP Fat). It will be available on December 13 as well with a price tag of 3,800 Yen, or roughly around US$ 33.13.
