SCEJ opens official Patapon website - Image 1One of the many weird surprising things that came out of this year's E3 is the rather quirky game Patapon for the PlayStation Portable. We really can't begin to describe this game to you and those who've seen the trailer video are going to understand us.

It's a side scrolling title that has some form of rhythm game element. Well, we learned today that Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has just opened the game's official website. Despite that, the said page is still not fully functional and a lot of its sub-menus are still not working.

If you can read Japanese though, you might want to click our Read link below and head to the site. The "About" section is already live. Another thing we've noticed on Patapon's official site, there's an off-site link that will take you to Rolitoland.com.

To those of you not familiar with this, Rolito is a designer that used to work with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) on a certain soccer video game for the PSOne. It is highly probable that Rolito is going to be the designer for Patapon as well.

Patapon is just a working title and there's still no word as to when it will be released.
