SCEJ coming out with two Metallic Blue PSP bundles in July |

According to a new press release, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is coming out with two new Metallic Blue PSP bundles. These bundles not only look awesome, but also come with some extra goodies for TV lovers to enjoy.
The first one, known as the PSP Metallic Blue Value Pack, comes with a Metallic Blue PSP, a pouch, hand strap, cloth, 32MB Memory Stick Duo, and a D Terminal AV Cable. The AV Cable allows users to hook their PSP units up to the television so they can enjoy their games on a bigger screen.
The second bundle, called the PSP Metallic Blue 1 Seg Pack, comes with a Metallic Blue-colored pouch, a hand strap, cloth, a 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, and a 1 Seg Tuner. For those who haven't heard of it, the 1 Seg Tuner is a device that connects to the PSP and allows the PSP to view digital broadcasts in Japan.
The PSP Metallic Blue Value Pack and the PSP Metallic Blue 1 Seg Pack will both be released on July 17, and will retail for 23,800 yen (US$ 226) and 29,800 yen (US$ 283) respectively.

it's about time they started coming with cases, cloths, and 32mb ms again. my screen got pretty screwed up the 1st couple months i had it. ended up just getting a new faceplate and case while i was at it. though i probably would have got the clear faceplate anyways lol

that's what happens to screens with too much alone time with the PSP (Porn Station Portable).

I think my silver slim is sexy enough. Why get a blue psp when I can by a 10 dollar blue face plate or a clear one at that. Once again sony gives the benefits to Japan and not the USA which buys the most of their products. When will SONY give us a TV tuner. The only thing I get close to the extra japanese only PSP features is to fake my region. Shame Shame Shame!
obviously they're not trying to market to people who already have a PSP (thats a huge DUH) they're trying to appeal to people who don't have one and/or will only buy a color they like. Also they sell a lot more PSP stuff in Japan, not here.
The value pack for this color has been available for a long time now.

as for being able to buy a snap on face plate or even a whole new blue casing that is possible but as for 1 seg sony does not plan on releasing this probably ever. the signals required for this are not sent out in america and probably will never happen.
whats the deal with firmware 4.xx? dude, it should be something big like expected but what? any ideas they havnt thought of yet for the psp?
