SCEE announces sequel to Pursuit Force |
Ó
This just in folks! Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) just announced that it kind of misses the splendid blend of driving and shooting Pursuit Force offered when it was first released back in March last year. And so, they decided to make a sequel and called it Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice. The new game, according to SCEE, still revolves around Capital City and the players' quest to restore justice. But it wouldn't be a sequel if it doesn't offer anything new, right? Right. So in Extreme Justice, players will have to go face to face against two new gangs: The Raiders who specializes in high-ace ambushes and professional bank robbers The Syndicate.
To make things more exciting, the Viper Division has been added to the already able roster of Pursuit Force. The new division also aims to clean the city of scum, offering a graceless and harsh competition to the police. In short, they are good guys who love to play it dirty.
Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice will be released for the PSP and the PS2 in the summer of 2007. Its other noteworthy features include:
- An array of new vehicles to jump between such as gigantic tanks, trains and even the wings of an aeroplane
- A bunch of new vehicles such as a bike and sidecar, jet ski and a hovercraft
- Seamless switch from ground combat to air-based vehicles, such as helicopters, to take down the enemy with mounted high caliber guns
- Four player WiFi
- The Justice Bar which gives players the ability to regain strength and prolong a mission
- Three difficulty levels
- A host of new recruits - Sarah (Air Support), Gage (High Speed Pursuit), Ash (Special Operations) and Preach (Heavy Assault)

sweet i was just thinking of this game today awesome.
best origianl title for psp
Pursuit force was one of the best and most difficult games i have ever played.
Im not surprised this goes to ps2 as well,Pursuit force was one of the best games no one played.Sony marketing is killing the PSP.
i absolutly luv this game WOOHOO!!!
its one of the most original and greatest psp games made?
Hus wiv me?
Is that like a favorite quote among idiots who don't know ***** about Islam? Before hating on an ENTIRE religion because of a group of idiots using Islam as a scapegoat, try doing some research on the ACTUAL teachings of Islam.
....Racist muthfu**as...
The first game was too difficult, and wasted too much time loading between tries to get past a stage.
I just wish I never chose it as my free bundle game when I got my PSP.
I loved the first game maannn!!! Even though many people thought it was too hard, I just thougt it was a challenge.... A very original game for the PSP, NOT just a crappy port... And may the sequel be even better :)
The fist one was a piece of sh7t. Hopefully this one's better.
i have never played this game but i saw the previews and everything and it seems very fun and interesting i heard there was a demo for this game if anybody knows the link for the demo can u please put it here cuz i really want to try out this games thanks in advance if anybody ever post the demo
You must be one of the idiots that couldnt beat the game, lol at you.
Really the first one was legendary,is hard as hell but with a little practice you notice you get better on racing games.Pretty much like GTR or PGR.
This one on ps3 with physics would be a killer.
The only bad thing about this is that is for ps2 too.The cheap bastards should make at least a new one for the ps2.
All you do is drive around, get close to a car or boat, press a button to jump on it and press another button to shoot until they die then you drive another car and do it over and over again. BORING
The gameplay felt too scripted, as if I was playing laserdisk game such as Dragon's Lair or that awful Road Avenger for the Sega Mega CD
...if this game had free roam it would be da bomb. Then it would be somewhere between GTA, Mercenaries, and True Crime....to bad thats not going to happen.
gage does high speed pursuit, gage could of been the name of the playable character inpursuit force 1
