Scaleform GFx SDK tools and middleware deployed for PSP & PS3 |
Ó

Scaleform Corporation, one of the industry leaders in hardware-accelerated UI and scalable vector graphics engines for games, announced today that Scaleform GFx SDK tools and middleware have been released for both the Sony PS3 and the PSP.
"We are excited to provide the Scaleform GFx SDK for user interface development on PS3 PSP," said Brendan Iribe, President and CEO of Scaleform. "The Scaleform GFx architecture delivers on SCEI's vision for cinematic rich media on the RSX-based computer entertainment system. Using Scaleform GFx on PS3, developers can have the best of both worlds: artist-driven content created in Flash and hardware-accelerated high performance vector graphics delivered via RSX."
Using Scaleform GFx with Nvidia and SCEI's RSX graphics chip, game development artists will be able to rapidly create and deploy compelling and immersive user interface content. It will enable game developers to move from a programmer-centric static UI development environment to an artist-driven dynamic UI and animated texture production pipeline.

but i'll wait on buying a ps3 until ign has some videos which dont look like something the xbox1 could support
i hate qj.net... seriously all these stupid popups is so annoying. it took me 5 minutes to get through this site on high speed internet.. dee dee dee
Firefox + Adblock + Happy Browsing. Back to topic: Good to see the PS3 is finally getting some SDK tools.
Wow you need to go ***** yourself, if you call FFXIII, MGS4, Lair, Motorstorm, Heavenly sword, and much more - something the Xbox1 can support, then ur a biased mother*****er. Go ***** yourself and hang yourself on the wall by your balls *****
Lol dude its not qj.net its your computer. almost 99% of the time you got spyware or something like that which causes popups.
i only got 1 meg broadband and it takes me 1 min its got no popups
omg i love adblock. I was like 'it's not that big of a deal' before I got it, but now that I have it... omg so good. :D
dude it takes about 1.5 seconds for me and i have 2 meg broadband, seriously find firefox, get adblock, and de-munge your pc.
also, adblock will get rid of intellitxt.. it's so good.
Qj is full of ads. banner ads, which are okay, and the oh so evil in-text ads. I'm gonna try this adblock thing.
sorry i was pissed when i wrote that, cause i was at school so im hoping you n00bs forgive me? lol ps. i dont hate qj.. just sometimes you guys have unreliable arcticles.
running FIREFOX here, no pop ups whatsoever. i have no spyware, except for that system doctor pop up that are triggered by heavy spyware sites, again not QJ. i only use windows defender which is by the way turned of everytime, except when i personally scan once a month. anyways QJ is really slow compared to any other game/gaming news site, maybe due to heavy advertising.
