Rumors: New MGS for PSP in development |
Ó
It seems that Snake is slithering his way into the handheld arena, ladies and gentlemen. Right after Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops was released for the Sony PlayStation Portable, rumors are already spreading that a brand new version of the Metal Gear Solid series will be making its way to the Sony PSP again. It's also been rumored that actions to develop the video game are well underway. Strike whilst the iron is hot may be Konami Digital's principle in developing games.
This newest MGS rumor comes shortly after MGS Portable Ops and Portable Ops Plus were released. According to reports, this game for the Sony handheld will not be a spin off the last game and will instead "hearken back to the early days."
With the slew of new games for the portable console, gamers may look forward to a wider spectrum of games available to them more than ever before, and this newest MGS game will more likely be just as awaited as the previous MGS games.

Nice! U remember the first MGSPO that Snake didn't have beard! So in this MGSPO+ he has Beard! And he is more adult! And in this New one! He will be old! Like he is on MGS 4!
Remember MGS 2: Sons Of Liberty! He was just like he is young! Then comes the MGS 3: Snakes Eater! He is a little more adult and he got beard! And in the MGS 4 he is more grown up! He is old!
Good times !!
CHEERS! FOXHOUND LIVES! ^ ^

omg i hope so MGS is awesome
hope there will be good stuff too at online for this
Hey PSPMAN90 I think you messed up in your little this is like MGS4 but for the PSP. Whatever you just said, made no sense.
In Metal Gear 1 and 2 for the MSX2 back in the 1990's or 80's those had Solid Snake back in the old days and he had to fight Big Boss. You can also get MG1 AND 2 on MGS3 Subsistance.
In Metal Gear Solid 1, that was Solid Snake, MGS2 took place 2-4 years after MGS1 and thats why he has a beard, MGS3 has a character named Naked Snake AKA BIG BOSS NOT SOLID SNAKE FROM MGS 1 AND 2 AND 4.
Big Boss is Solid Snakes father and they used him to clone Solid Snake.
Big Boss looks like Solid Snake but hes not, MGS3 AND PO started back in 1965-1971 and MG-MGS4 excluding 3 were in the future AKA year 1995 or 1998-2014 and you kill Big Boss in MG2.
MG series is different from MGS series BTW. MGS is the sequel series to MG.
So in PO, you are playing as Solid Snakes father, NOT SOLID SNAKE HIMSELF! MGS4 is the game where you play as the old version of Solid Snake.
I just wanted to correct you cause your post was very confusing because it made no sense because Solid Snake was not in MGS3 AND PO, that was Big Boss. PO+ had Solid Snake from MGS4 as playable character for fun.
Okay dude first off
1. MGS3 and MPO starres Big Boss as the main character. He is Snake genetic father (You should know this since you've played the games right?)
2. Snake did have a beard in MPO but it wasn't that big.
3. Snake didn't look the same like he did in MGS2. He looked older, he had a few wrinkels.
