Ron Perlman continues role as Hellboy in game adaptation |
Ó
With the continuous development being made for the upcoming game Hellboy, Konami is starting to release bits of information about this new title. The latest bit of news that it has provided is the confirmation that Hollywood actor Ron Perlman will once again be breathing life into our otherworldly hero. The only difference is that this time around, it would be as Hellboy's voice in the video game adaptation of the well-loved comic book title.Others would most likely consider this to be an obvious choice, as Perlman is already well-acquainted with the character that he was been tasked to bring to life. After all, he has already played the role of Hellboy in the 2004 movie adaptation, as well as provided the voice for both of the "Hellboy" animated series which followed. Word has it that he will also be reprising his role AGAIN, in the sequel of the "Hellboy" movie.
Just a bit of additional trivia, really, but it may be important to know that Perlman is no stranger to his upcoming voice acting assignment. That's because he has also provided the voices for many of gaming's familiar figures such as the narrator for the opening scenes of several Fallout games, Jagger Valance in The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, and Fleet Admiral Sir Terrence Hood in Halo 2, to name just a few.

It's good when a movie-based game gets the real actors to do voices, but it's even better when they can actually do voice acting.
