Electronic Arts has finally dated Rock Band: Unplugged for the PSP. Warm up those fingers for some Overdrives, the handheld spinoff will be available in North America and Europe on June 9 - a day after my birthday, sweet!
We got screens for the game, as well as an announcement trailer too. But more importantly, we get a glimpse of nine special tracks included in the game. We've seen some of these songs listed in previous reports, but now we got added info.
These nine songs will exclusively debut on the PSP, and later on, they'll be introduced to PSN and XBL as DLC for their respective console versions:
- 3 Doors Down - "Kryptonite"
- AFI - "Miss Murder"
- Alice in Chains - "Would?"
- Audioslave - "Gasoline"
- Black Tide - "Show Me the Way"
- Blink 182 - "What's My Age Again"
- Freezepop - "Less Talk More Rokk"
- Jackson 5 - "ABC"
- Tenacious D - "Rock Your Socks"

Guitar Star is way better than this copy. I think the creator of guitar star should file a lawsuit against these game makers for stealing his idea....just my 2
GuitarStar is pretty freakin ugly, its nothing compared to this, did you even see the video? and a lawsuit?? how would they manage that? a rythem based game was out for the psp a loong time before guitarstar anyways, and even if they were the very first, they cant just sue them for making their own game! did guitar hero sue rock band? of course not. why? becuase they couldnt, they just made their own game. also, guitarStar is not an official game, therefore, it has no real rights or copywrited information, which even lessens its ability to sue a real publisher. your post seriously makes me sick, its like you didnt even try to think about what you were saying,

Graphics suck, but I guess this has to run at a rock solid 60FPS to be playable.
dumbass song choice for sure. It's ROCK band, not blues bullcrap band. It looks kind of boring. The track list is lame (personal opinion). I choose GuitarStar, because i can add more music and the type of stuff i listen to, and there's 5 frets.
Any other song off that list up there would have been much better then friggin ABC.

Other than the Audioslave track this is the worst lineup of songs for a Rockband game yet. Seriously, it looks like one of those crap "This is ROCK!" compilation CDs you see advertised on TV. Where's the typical Nickelback and Creed tracks usually included on those?
And 3 Doors Down? Really?? I thought they were 3 doors down from me working at the McDonalds by now.
And could someone PLEASE explain the appeal of Tenacious D to me?? I will never understand that.
And what's the unplugged part of these songs anyway? Even that Jackson 5 song uses a distorted guitar and doesn't sound any different than the studio version.
I know I sound like I'm just whining but I haven't added any new games to my PSP in months and this certainly won't change that.
It's too bad too, because for the most part the track lists for Rock Band and Guitar Hero are usually pretty awesome.

Yes, that was a terrible song to pick for the trailer. It'll be annoying to play as well.. I wonder if this game will have muiltiplayer.
Anyway, the chart looked slow because it was played on a LOWER DIFFICULTY. As with all the GH and RB games, the lower the difficulty, the less notes you have to actually hit and the slower the chart goes.
How can you say the graphics suck? It's friggin' PSP. The game runs at a constant 60fps otherwise it'd be choppy and everyone would ***** about the controls.
The "appeal" of Tenancious D is that they're a kickass band, and while I think you're opinion is trash, there you go. They are still a form of rock, so they're in. Accept it or leave.
It's called Unplugged because YOU DON'T USE AN INSTRUMENT TO PLAY. Jesus, people, learn how to deduce things and use logic. For real.
As for that ray guy, yeah, you see 20% of the final list and say you won't check the game out. Real intelligent conclusion.

ANother thing, this thing its even a "ROCKBAND" would there be Multiplayer Band Form? ANd How people would Sing? Using the Mic of PSP-3000? lol Or the Socom FTB Head Set ? Ha Ha I can't image People singing "ABC" with their's PSP on hands! lol
