Oh ffs, the game's already been released. Why would we now be interested in characters that 'might' be in the game? We already know what characters are in there.

If they are going to add more X-Men, I'd prefer them first!
The reason they're adding Psylocke is because she's already in some versions (Wii, maybe more) and it's something easy enough for VV to do. I wouldn't be surprised if Blade and Cyclops are also in the pack, since they're also in the Wii version.
Psylocke is hotter and uses more skimpy outfit, so she comes first.
