An article has been published an article today commemorating the PSP's first birthday, which will be this Friday, March 24th.With a library consisting of over 100 games and 350 UMD movies, the PSP has found its way to over 15 million users already. With new features such as internet browsers and RSS feeds too, this $199 device is slowly but surely becoming an all-in-one portable media solution. However, it can be difficult for the less tech-savvy people at there to use the PSP to its full potential, so the Chicago Tribune is compiling a series of articles that will catch everybody up on a whole year's worth of information on portable gaming. Covering your biggest concerns about accessories, Wi-Fi, converting video files and more, you should go head on over to truly see what the PSP has to offer.

When did PSP ever suddenly develop a 199 dollar price tag?

I'm pretty sure it's still 250 for the value pack and 300 for the giga pack, but perhaps I'm mistaken.

Tomorrow sony is releasing the PSP Core that comes with just a power cord and the system itself I will be picking one up as soon as its out. the 199 price tag puts psp in to my price range (which is pretty low...im a jobless 16 year old). This is an awesome site by the way!
