This upcoming week is going to see a substantial amount of releases for PSP in both the movie and video game departments. Although I haven't had a chance to try out the other ones, I know I'll be picking up a copy of Pursuit Force because it offers an innovative blend between driving and shooting. Harry Potter fans certainly have something to look forward to, while Jarhead should be more appealing for all you war buffs out there.

UMD RELEASES

    * Boyz 'n the Hood
    * Goonies
    * Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
    * Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
    * Jarhead
    * Metropolis

PSP GAME RELEASES

    * Dragonball Z
    * Pursuit Force
    * Samurai Warriors: State of War
    * Spongebob Squarepants: The Yellow Avenger

» EU and US Releases

While it is true that pursuit force was indeed a launch title in the EU territories (Including Australia, but excluding South Africa...We get EVERYTHING late), the US release has been changed to balance the gameplay. Apparently there were some difficulty issues that needed adjusting.

A similar thing happened with Virtua Tennis, which was also a launch title in the EU territories, except that no changes were made to Virtua Tennis' gameplay.

Congratulations on your off-topic unnecessary post! I hope you feel special. And, BTW, the PSP isn't software, it's hardware.

reading reviews, this game is supposed to be a decent action game. the inevitability of this game needing 2.6 makes me question whether it'll be worth upgrading though. if this game and many others that come out are great, i guess i'll give up homebrew.

not always. most of the stuff in the us is out before it reaches our shores. like the psp itself, the xbox 360 is coming out soon, and you have way more games. we only have like 30 at the most. it sucks. and EB are the only big retailers who sell them, apart from a new music store called JB HI-FI and an australian owned company called **** Smith Electronics.

I'm in South Africa mate...Trust me, we get EVERYTHING late.

The XBox was never released here, and were looking at a *November* official release of the Xbox 360.

When the PSP was launched here (2 Days later than the rest of the euro territories, by the way) it launched with a whopping 5 titles. One of which was not in fact pursuit force. It launched about a month later. :)

I am, in fact, still waiting for the SNES to be released here.

Something tells me I'm holding my breath for nothing...

My only consolation, is that every so often (or rather, not so often...) we actually beat AUS in the cricket
