PSP now cheaper in Europe |

Now's a good time for Europeans who still don't have a PlayStaton Portable to go out and buy one. Sony has recently cut down the handheld gaming device's price by almost a quarter of its previous suggested retail price.
The price cut, which was put into effect Friday, puts the PSP's suggested retail price in European territories to € 129.99 (about US$ 187). The previous suggested retail price was € 169.99 (about US$ 246).
"The price cut is aimed at increasing adoption of the player in Europe," explained Satoshi Fukuoka, one of Sony's Tokyo-based spokespersons. Sony also marked down the PSP's suggested retail price in the U.S. recently. Tim Bender, SCEA's senior vice president of sales, said that the new price point "enables us to broaden the PSP platform to a larger group of consumers who are looking for best-in-class handheld entertainment."
In contrast, Sony has yet to give out pricing details on the PSP's successor, the Next Generation Portable or NGP.

Not the price cut I imagined, I thought it'd be £90.00 to £95.00 at max.
PSPgo in Portugal was once sold in some retail stores for less than 80 Euros, but I'll never buy a PSPgo it's no good.
