Here's the latest version of cooleyes' feature pack alternative media player for the PlayStation Portable, PMPlayer Advance. Now on version 3.1.4, the latest update fixes some video format problems.

- fixed some videos can not play in FW6xx

Why do we need this if the psp iotself can play movies fine.
PLease, can anyone point out why this is better than the normal way of playing fiels. Also, please comment on the quality and file size comparisons as well. thank oyu in advance

The only advantage I see this brew have is subtitle support and it still has some problems with it.

Like I said if you're going to convert those files, you may as well convert them to a format that psp natively supports.

It seems to me this is most useful for downloading and playing youtube flv's and mpg's that are usually already in compatible resolutions.
If this could be combined with a program that could do that directly from the PSP would be even better.
