Developer's note:

This release of DaedalusX64 is currently in beta stages of development.

As for the past releases of Daedalus PSP, this project is intended to show the potential for a N64 emulator on the PSP, but the currentrelease has many missing features that make it far from usable:

  • Many roms won't boot.
  • Some roms have serious graphical glitches.
  • Various roms have random lockups and crashes.
  • Many roms run at a low framerate.

Having said all that, We believe most of these problems can be overcome in the near future.

Installation:

  • Copy the Daedalus folder to the \PSP\GAME\ folder on your PSP.
  • Daedalus requires Custom Firmware 4.00 or higher, failing to install CFW 4.00 or higher will mean Daedalus does not load past the firmware check screen.

Upgrade Procedure

  • Remove all HLE files from the SaveGames folder
  • Remove rom.db and preferences.ini
  • This will ensure that Daedalus is fresh.

Big improvements indeed lately.
Hopefully the home butto bug is fixed entirely now, it was a lot better with 710 already, but i still had some crashes now and then.

^^

Its true.

This EMU is showing noticeable improvements recently compared to 6 months ago.

I've retried a bunch of emu's that were previously unplayable and they're playing now.

And the cheat function is a great touch.

When is Daedalus going to start being signed again, and what is the newest signed version? I have people that would need a signed version because they don't want to risk bricking their PSP. I would do it to mine, but my LCD cracked so im just gonna get a new PSP

713 is out and fixes the Phat bug when a game is started with frame limiter enabled. It also has a few other minor fixes.

uh...
why not sign your own copies of daedalus?
there is multiple programs out there to do it
if a HEN can be signed, a emu can be signed
