Bigger than the effective confirmation of the PSP Go!, I'm more excited about this news of the next MGS being on the PSP. I looooved MGS PO.

The purpose of this is to test a smaller psp with a built in memory with no umd. The specs are probably the same, the only difference seems to be blue tooth and the 16GB. They don't want to get rid of the UMD using 3000 yet because games are still comming out on umd. So think of it as a psp 3000 with no umd and onboard memory, thats a little smaller. I wish they would have put a camera on it though. I wonder if the camera will even fit on this thing?

Yes that picture looks like the PSP is very well crafted. The one Sony is displaying kind of looks, just a tad bit cheap. Just make it glossy like the 2000/3000. The hands in the first picture of more shinier then the PSP.

if it had 16 Gigabyte of ram, the PSP would be the computer/console with the most ram on the market!!

it has 16GB memory on it's internal Flash drive (Hard disk drive)... it doesn't have 16GB ram... if it keeps the same amount of ram since the update of ram from PSP model 2000, it has 64 Megabyte ram...

if it had a second analog stick, it would become the PSP2, which means that the first few PSPs wouldn't be able to play the new games, since the support for the 2nd analog stick... they won't add a 2nd analog stick untill they reach the actual PSP2... when do people get this?

however, it could be doen like with the nintendo DSi, where it has a camera, and the previous version don't which means new games will support this, but it isn't a needed feature, thus they make it compatible with odler versions... but again, with the PSP, a 2nd analog stick would change they way of playing the games completely... it will have to be named "PSP2" before you get your god-forsaken second analog stick... i know i suck at explaining, but it's really quite logical... hope a few more people reads it this time, so we can get rid of that request!

The PSP Go is more for mobile phone users and attracts to people like that. The PSP Go and PSP 3000 will be sold with different aspects in mind, so keep that in mind.

No, it wouldn't necessarily be a PSP2. There's mods of PSP's with a second one. I don't really want one but that's why other people may not buy it. I think it'll be easier for people to drop them if it had two.

The 2nd analog stick could be the equivalent to the Cross, Square, Circle, and Triangle button like it does in mods people have done.

People aren't asking for a PS3 Portable, they're asking to get rid of minor annoyances.

So, no, I don't see why the company could have put something in that new games wouldn't require. That's like saying the Gameboy Light should have had Gameboy Light specific games because of it's backlight.

Two analog sticks would be likely in PSP2 not PSPGo!

If Sony decide that PSP2 will have backwards compatibility, it would most likely disable the use of the secondary stick for legacy games.

I think you misunderstood what they were saying. The PSP Go! comes with 16 GB of internal memory, like a hard drive. Not RAM, or else it would be really freaking expensive. It probably only has 64 MB of RAM.

Of course they can do it, but it would be stupid to do until PSP2. It would be a smart idea for PSP2 but not on the existing generation.
