At the Sony E3 2009 Press Conference, one of the bigger announcements was the "official unveiling" of their "worst-kept secret", the PSP Go. At that time, the only pricings announced were for the US and Europe, both standing at 250. But what of the UK?

Pocketgamer reports that two of the largest video game retailers in the UK, Game and GameStation, has pegged the pre-order price of the PSP Go at £ 229.99 (about US$ 370). However, it was also found that earlier in the day, it was only at £ 179.99 (about US$ 290). This pricing would have made the Go launch at the same price the Phat launched with back in 2005.

» like the PSP Go, but...

i must admit, it is a bit too pricy, even for a Playstation-brand fan like me

however, as mad as i am, if i want anything, and actually are able to afford, i will buy it, no matter the price.

would do the same if Microsoft released that ZuneX that was rumoured some time back

» Question is...

Will it be region locked? I can see me importing one for the saving...

» right...

What happened to the whole "It will be cheaper than the current PSP's on the market now" thing? Thats seriously screwed, the PSP slim was only £130 when it came out. Why do games companies really hate Europe.....
