PSP firmware 6.60 released |

Sony has released a minor firmware update for the PSP earlier today, which brings nothing new to the table but blocks the use of some1's 6.39 kernel exploit.
So if your units are running on custom firmwares, you know the drill, don't update! It's another sneaky move from Sony, but good thing homebrew coder neur0n is already on the heels of this one. Just a few hours after the firmware went live, neur0n has announced on twitter that he is working on bringing the latest firmware to the custom firmware community (see the pic below for a little preview of neur0n's 6.60 ME).

The Japanese coder ain't alone on this one either. Browsing through Team PRO's Google project hosting page and we see a couple of progress in relation with firmware 6.60. No official word yet on the release of both CFW's. Stay tuned.
Sony released the PSP firmware update version 6.60 earlier today along with the PS3 update 3.70.
