PSN US: arcade shooters galore with Commando 3, Novastrike, and more |
Ó
PlayStation owners rejoice for another week has gone by and that means another weekly dose of downloadable goodies from Sony's PlayStation Store. Gamers in North America will be glad to know that two new downloadable PSN titles are now up for grabs. In addition, the first issue of the Qore Digital Magazine, covering the latest news in the PlayStation world, can also be downloaded off the PlayStation Store.
To kick off the week, it's arcade shooters galore as Backbone Entertainment's Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 and Tiki Games' Novastrike take the forefront of this week's downloadable content on the PlayStation Store. Also, the first episode of Qore wraps up all the highlights of the PlayStation scene from both the SCE Worldwide Studios and the third-party community, where readers can actually control and direct the content.
On the flip side of things, PlayStation Portable owners can now return to the battlefield as they take on mercs in the fictional country of Adjikistan with Zipper Interactive's SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2. You can also download other similarly themed goodies through the PlayStation Network and give your handheld that realistic wartime feel you've always been looking for.
Anyway, here's the complete list of downloadable content available for this week on the PlayStation Store:

Oh boy shooters! Need moar shooters!
I'm just waiting for Wipeout HD. If it's buggy, just release it now and patch it later, or something.
I tried the Battlefield: Bad Company demo, didn't like it too much. Why does it take 30+ bullets to kill one person, and why can you snipe people with tanks? The weapons are all awkward and the Single Player is extremely boring. It's really just a test ground for the online.
But yeah, the Rock Band stuff intrigues me. I think I'll buy the Disturbed pack. Never heard of the other guys. >_>
i actually like battlefield BC. I like the free aspect of it all. I think every one is to in love with cod4 an arnt willing to get use to another games style, im ready to move on from cod4 n battlefield BC is it
it only takes like 10 bullets or less for me to kill people. i got 52 kills in one game. im ranked in the top 600. BC takes more skill than CoD4. Its not a Spray-N-Pray game like CoD4. If someone is running you dont aim at them you aim in front of them. Its more realistic.
