D & D: Tactics

Delmar Wynn of Warcry Network is lucky enough to get his hands on the upcoming PSP game from Atari, Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics. One look at his post and you can immediately tell that he's a huge fan of Dungeons & Dragons Online, whether or not this clouded his opinion of the handheld version, only he can answer.

However, he did give us some insights on the game. He talked about the dreadful creatures that he and his party encountered while roaming around the dungeons. He mentioned of spiders that throws a sticky web to trap their enemies and running across a beholder. Be weary of these beholders, as you know one is enough to get you gasping for air, but two, let's just say you won't have time even to gasp.

You can also look forward to a more polished look for the game as the developers are making a few more tweaks on the graphics. One thing that hasn't changed though are the controls. Old timers will feel at ease with the pressing the familiar buttons to fight evil entities.

He describes the game as having "a progressive playing story line and endgame with what sounds to be a great battle" and encourages players to engage in a co-op battle using the PSPs connectivity features with your band of friends.

Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics hits the shelves in December. Just in time for the Holidays.

I don't know about this "Dungeons and Dragons" thing, but this seems like it COULD be a good RPG. Is it 3D at least?

» The PSP needs more turn-based games

Played MGA while rocking the baby to sleep the first few nights, MGAII while feeding the baby in the middle of the night, I guess I'll be able to enjoy D&DT when the teeth thing happens at night.

Thank good these things have earphones... ;)

Couldn't play, say a racing or action game while using only one hand and stoping to see if everything is ok, so TB games are more or less all I can play when i'm "on duty".

Thank you sony for my sanity.
