PlayStation Trucks bring gaming to your neighborhoods |
Ó
This is why a lot of people so love Sony's marketing department: PlayStation Experience is once again deploying PlayStation trucks to numerous locations across North America. Inside these big-wheeled babies are competitions, prizes, and the chance to experience first-hand playing next-gen games in the newest high-definition TVs.
If your idea of enjoying PS3 games is cooping up in your own room, just forget that and check out the PlayStation Trucks should they pass by in your neighborhood. The PlayStation Patrol now has a whopping 25 gaming stations (per truck), with 12 of them for the PlayStation 3s and 40-inch big screens. Surely, these happy trucks will beat your own room when it comes to gaming bliss.
PS2's Singstar is also now included in the fray, where rock star wannabes can belt out their tunes at their own risk (of having their neighbors jump on them for causing too much racket). PlayStation Portable (PSP) owners can also enjoy free game, music, movies, and game demo downloads.
The PlayStation LockerRoom Challenge touring vehicle will also roam around with the same gaming goodness, as well as a "thunderous sound system", which would be very ideal for playing SingStar. But like we said, play at your own risk.

i'd love to live in america now.... why doesn't sony do this in england??? if they did...they should roam up to manchester.... stop in front of the cathedral... and put resistance on so people can play the cathedral level..... i bet you even the bishop will want to play...lol
Hey noob, we had these trucks over here in poland... 2 months ago -.-
ur a noob, you live in Poland, haha
Can't you play the mediocre PS3 game selection in any store? What do you need a stupid truck for?
I'm a hater. And just upset I bought a 360.
There's 6 stations for each PS3 game. Cool, I can play even more Motorstorm or Resistance with others if there's anybody else around.
Too bad mothe*****er that i live in Austria *****. I never said i LIVE in Poland. n00b
Rofl you live in Austria. Pwnt
this is the best way to get a casual gamer, because it shows big power of the ps3, even if your not playing...its better than going to wal mart or best buy to play it on a lil lcd tv now i leave you a lil comedy trucker phil: "hey tom, where to next? trucker tom: "i dont know phil, lets try the capital of florida" *4 hours later* trucker phil: "why would he jump in front of us tom?" trucker tom: "i dont know phil, he looks dead...i think we should just leave" trucker phil: "are you sure? i mean it looks like he is trying to talk" unknown victim: "i will sue you! you were practicing to run me over ever since you played mario cart! i will take gaming out of this world!" *unknown victim passes out* trucker phil: "ok, lets leave him" *later on FOX News* news lady: " hi tim, i am here reporting live from florida's state court next to the highway, aparently, jack thomson jumping in front of a moving truck after losing a case over halo 3." tim: "thanks Sue, we will be back later at 6PM central, thanks for watchin"
Austria sucks so much, dude, is that even a real country
austira is to germany as canada is to america
people in austaia have more freedom they americans (I live in the U.S.)
You know if they had these trucks with 50 stations, there would be 70 people trying to play and it would just be uncomfortable waiting for your turn to play. Half the people there don't even have a PS3 and they are going to milk their turns like nobody's business. Even at Walmart, there is always some kid hogging up the controls cause you know his ass don't have any systems. And for the record...Austria is not that great. The only good thing that came out of there is Vienna Sausages. And if those aren't from Austria, then there is really nothing good about it.
I love, love, love vienna sausages, it's my favoritest!! Who the hell would want to play on Sony's stupid ass trucks with a bunch of whiny little punks clamoring up front to get their turn.
Last year they happened to come to Orchard Park, NY (the town in which the Buffalo Bills play) on a Bills gameday, so the truck made for some fun tailgating! They even had Madden on the PS2 and PSP's they had. A couple of us (myself included) walked away with PSP or PS2 games, or, in my case, tickets to a concert!
