Playstation Spot: 11 Game Downloads At TGS 2006 |
Ó
Sony is really heading to the Tokyo Game Show in full force this year. According to Famitsu, Sony will feature trial versions of 11 game titles, which attendees can download and save in their PSP memory stick. The 11 titles will be available through the PlayStation Spot and the list includes Loco Roco and Monster Hunter Portable 2, to name a few.The Playstation Spot kiosk allows PSP owners to use the handheldÂ’s WiFi game sharing capabilities to download game demos or trial versions from the special server.
Tokyo Game Show is one of the largest video game expo in the world and it will be held on September 22 to 24 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Last year, one of the major disappointments was the lack of playable games for PS3. This year though, Sony will be featuring playable game titles for their upcoming next-gen console.

i'm the second
will they be avalible on download sites?
only if someone uploads them. SCEA is RETARDED
I bet they all require 2.81
I have mixed emotions about iso's and demo's. I love playing games without umds so I can keep my umds in mint condition. Since we do this though SCEA won't release any more beta's to games. I beta'd Fireteam Bravo and I think that'll be the last one they release as it was rampantly pirated. Too bad really :(
I posted this news on boardsus.playstation.com a few weeks ago, but wasn't sure if it was true (got info from next-gen.biz). Can't wait for that, there's supposed to be demos of MGS:Port ops and Ace Combat X available too. Good times.
Its used thru the wifi game sharing thing. Meaning.... Bingo it will only be playable if your in range so only at the show....
If you would only think..... It's obvious someone will go with not-so-good intentions on their heads. I think it's quite possible that a way of keeping those will show itself at TGS... I seriously don't agree with Isos (Unless like FOR3MAN said, use them with games I OWN on umd) but then again... I do NOT agree with sony either... If Sony was to think carefully, they'd realise, homebrew will only improve the psp further... HOMEBREW, non piracy related... In my opinion they should respect... accept AND believe in the free-lance devs as they like the PSP, but an 'open' PSP otherwise they wouldn't be coding for it right..? Now... The devs support Sony and.. Sony closes their doors. Unfair? Maybe. Anyways... I think its really possible that .. 'demo' versions of these will soon spur out on the torrents/piracy websites soon enough. Peace.
It`s about time. Now all we need is 2.80/2.81 Devhook and some nice japanese kids to upload them on the net, then we can rock and roll :D
