Phantom Kingdom PSP delayed

Phantom Kingdom, also known as Makai Kingdom, was just confirmed last June for the PSP. Originally, it was set for a September 22nd release, but unfortunately, that's not going to happen.

Publisher Nippon Ichi announced earlier today that they have decided to push back to the release of the game till next month.

The RPG title is said to feture extra content, new characters as well as new scenarios to spruce up this version of the series. Apart from that, Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten characters are also set to make cameos, such as Valvatorez (protagonist and tyrant vampire), as well as Fenrich. They also have another mystery character being teased for as being playable, although they have yet to reveal who that is going to be.

Phantom Kingdom's new release date is now set for October 6th, 2011. We're waiting for more details on this from Nippon Ichi, but if we do catch wind of anything, we'll be sure to be the first to let you know.
