Phantasy Star Portable 2 - shield yourself with Famitsu

When it comes to getting the inside scoop on the latest in gaming, few can compare to the knowledge that Famitsu brings. Apparently, the Japanese gaming mag has gotten so big that it went from getting inside scoops to getting inside the game. If knowledge is power, then Phantasy Star Portable 2 gives a whole new meaning to arming yourself with knowledge - the game will allow you to arm yourself with the power of the Famitsu Shield.

The downloadable shield is basically an opened magazine, and with each successful block, you can bind attackers with the flashing Famitsu logo. Famitsu now joins Fate/Stay, Hatsune Miku, Evangelion, and Pizza Hut, who have agreed to partnerships with Sega. More game mag partnerships are on their way, so keep an eye out for Shonen Jump boots or something.

We wont get Famitsu / Hatsune Miku stuff...

At least I am sure we wont get Famitsu...

I mean, hell, look at Monster Hunter, All of the Famitsu and Shonen JUMP, and Dengiki stuff is taken out of the game...

Oh well, that is why CWCheat exists, to get items in game that are removed in the release.

Bought PS:P and enjoyed it for a little bit, but the repetition and lack of any real difficulty made me put it down, I felt like I was just spamming button hits and destroying everything on screen.

By no means was it a bad game, but I didn't get the same satisfaction from it as I did taking down the Colossal bosses of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.
