Phantasy Star Portable 2 - Image 1This month of November, Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be out as a playable demo for Japan. Lucky demo players (also formerly known as beta testing) will be randomly drawn, so get those fingers crossed, you just might be one of them (granting, of course, that you're in Japan).

On November 12th, 19th and 26th, 50,000 gamers will be receiving the demo codes, which can be used for one whole week. Again, this game has only so far been confirmed for Japan, and it's set to come out in that region on December 3.

Does the PSP2 logo remind anyone of the MHF2 logo? It does to me.

I can't stress enough how much this game and it's predecessor is not worth any renown. Someone please call me out when there's a phantasy star or a monster hunter that requires the PSP to be clocked at 333Mhz!

You are so right, no game can be acceptable or even fun based on it's game play or art style. All games that do not fully utilize the system they run on are pathetic and should be ignored over...

Screw it. I liked PSP, can't wait for the second one and don't bother waiting up for that call.

But for me it's a matter of perception. My senses are all really sharp so if it doesn't meet up with that I just can't help but be displeased with it (PSP2). It's cool that some people can enjoy the game and that I'm a rare and obviously uncared-for case.

I'd love for PSP2 to be a showcase game, but Sega doesn't see the need. Whatever, it'll do. If your so tuned to graphics and present ation you shouldn't be looking to the PSP anyway. It beats the other handhelds, but that's like outrunning a guy with one leg. He's most likely not there for the foot race.
