Harry Potter 6 - Image 1Aaand it's official. Electronic Arts' Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince video game will be delayed in light of the sudden rescheduling of the movie to 2009.

Right now, the video game that was supposedly scheduled to come out this November for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, Mobile, Mac, and PC, is now going to be released on summer 2009, alongside the movie.

Oh well, I'm sure the wait will sure be worth it for the Potter fans (or the Granger fans, like myself). Keeping the free-roaming aspect of Order of the Phoenix for the sixth game seems like a good direction to take - it's like GTA only... wands instead of guns?

Let's just hope that they don't ban the game in some countries for potentially ...traumatizing events toward the end of Year 6. (And no, we're not talking about Dumbdledore's fabulous coming out party. *wink*) Ha! I kid, I kid.

» yes, free-roaming...

was also in Order of the Phoenix.

The 5th game was actually a breath of fresh air for most people. Try picking it up some time.
