It's been a long time waiting, but PSP gamers in Europe can finally rejoice as Atlus' critically acclaimed JRPG has been given an official release date.

European publisher Ghostlight has announced that Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable, which was released in the US and Japan last year, is now slated to arrive in Europe next month. According to the firms resident post:
"I am delighted to tell you that that the release date for Persona 3 Portable is *drumroll* the 29th April," reveals the firms blog post. "So remember to book the time off work, buy in the ready meals and teach the dog to walk itself. To make up for the delay we will be running competitions to win some wonderful P3P Goodies. Please stay tuned for further details."
A Collector's Edition of the game was also announced recently that includes the following items:
- 48-page Hardback Art Book.
- 6 limited-edition Artcards.
- A3 Poster.
- Special reversible Collector’s Edition Inlay.
- All of the above wrapped up in a beautiful Slipcase featuring additional artwork.
But that's not all, if you pre-order the game through Ghostlight's own store, you’ll get the added bonus of a limited and exclusive Persona-themed T-Shirt.
