It was a spot on speculation on the release date of Persona 2: Innocent Sin. US Publisher, Atlus, has confirmed the official release date of the PSP title for the region.
As it turns out, it's coming out pretty soon, with just some couple of weeks to go. Persona 2 is set to come out on September 20th. Not long from now, US gamers will be entering through the world of Sumaru City, and join with Tatsuy Suou on his adventures after the city gets hit by an evil curse, with people getting infected as well.
It's been a long while coming, but it should definitely be worth the wait. Persona, actually, is already set to come out with its 5th installment, with the dev team promising a brand new engine for it. Meanwhile, Persona 4 is headed over to the PlayStation Vita.
