PEGI reveals new ratings symbols for Europe

In our earlier article about PEGI becoming the UK standard for game ratings, some of you expressed skepticism on how the monotone PEGI labels could fare better that the BBFC's brighter ones. Well, PEGI has the answer: they've added a splash of color to their rating labels.

Along with the age ratings, eight descriptor symbols -- Violence, Bad Language, Fear, Drugs, Sexual, Discrimination, Gambling, Online Gameplay -- will also be stamped on the back of game packaging. Specifics regarding the labels and descriptors can be viewed at the source link.
