Now Sony's PlayStation 3 has just landed in Australian shores (officially) over a month ago, so we definitely are sure the first titles they've played were those available in launch. What we'd like to find out now is what new games are selling like hotcakes, and not just on the PlayStation 3, but on as many platforms as we could lay our hands on.
And thanks to GfK Australia, a market research organization of the GfK Group, we've been able to visualize (emphasis on visualize) a clear idea what games are top on an Australian gamer's book. Thanks to GfK's awesome picture listings, we don't have to list everything down for all to see. Instead, you can just check out the images below! The charts are as of April 29, 2007.

for one NBA2K7 purchase in that week... good to know i helped put it in number 7 among PS3 titles!!!
wow 3 PS3 games in the top ten... Motorstorm and Resistance going since launch!!! for those who said "cause it just launched, wait until 2 weeks" well it's one month and a week now and it's still there... i'll be helping Oblivion's cause this coming week.
three against zero in favor of the PS3 against the 360... good news for Sony for once... a very small victory but still good news... a breather from all the bad press it gets constantly.
that just means the xbox owners already bought their games =p
more impressive is diddy kong racing! ds ftw eh.. if only more psp owers BOUGHT their games..
but the XBox hasn't had any games in the overall top 10 for more than a month now... i get weekly emails (i can attach a link here as proof if you would like me to)... even when good XBox games were newly released like when Raibow Six came out, GRAW, Guitar Hero... they never make the Top 10 list... if you tell me that "just means the xbox owners already bought their games +p" then the XBox fans here must have some really old games... the only title recently to break the Top 10 was Ricky Ponting cause this country is big on cricket...
the only reason im bittching and complaining is because i know for a fact that the ps3 is the spawn of the dreamcast. and im gay
